Nowak Orthopedic Associates is taking every precaution to provide a safe clinical environment. Our waiting room has limited seating and allows for maximum social distancing. All patients and staff are required to wear a mask. Appropriate interviews and temperatures are screened by our patient care coordinator every visit, to every patient. Rooms are sanitized each visit and the clinic is daily sanitized.
In accordance with CDC recommendations, if you have traveled out of the country, or have been in contact with someone with coronavirus, or you are experiencing symptoms, kindly reschedule your visit.
We Treat The Following Conditions
Physical Therapy- What to Expect
Many patients may benefit from Physical Therapy. Physical Therapy should be considered as a first-line treatment option as many people respond well to a combination of manual treatment, exercise, and patient education. Your surgeon may suggest you go to therapy to potentially avoid surgery, strengthen preoperatively, or for postoperative rehabilitation.
Osteoarthritis of the Knee
Are you having chronic issues with your knees? Maybe the activities you once enjoyed are out of the picture as your joints don’t support you in the way they once did. At Nowak Orthopedic Associates, there are effective treatments that we consider as options to help you get back to enjoying an active lifestyle.
Hit ’em Straight and Long
Is your shoulder injury preventing you from having your best golf game? Perhaps your swing isn’t what it used to be. Nowak Orthopedics has solutions that are non-operative treatments. Below are just a few conservative approaches that we consider before surgery.
- Remember to register on the patient portal with Athena prior to your first visit
- Kindly bring your license, healthcare cards at your first visit.
- Wear shorts for lower extremity evaluation and a tank top or loose-fitting shirt for upper extremity evaluations
- All patients are required to follow our posted Covoid-19 protocol including wearing a mask.
